Burr Forman is a 7,750-square-foot interior design project for a prominent law office on the mezzanine level of a modern office building in downtown Jackson. The main public space includes the lobby reception, waiting area, and central hallway, each defined by a tile floor and drywall ceiling, and two small, centralized conference rooms, and a large conference room overlooking Capitol Street. Attorney’s Offices line the building perimeter with glass sidelights to help draw natural light into the deep floor plate of the space. The glass-walled paralegal/secretary stations stagger down the central hallway activating the space both visually and spatially, providing areas for informal meetings and serving as a threshold between public and private space. The kitchen, breakroom, and copy/workrooms are centrally located near the core for ease of access and acoustical separation. The project included a selection of furnishings, artwork, and accessories.
