The 31,000-square-foot Spring Street mixed-use project is located on a key hinge site at the center of Springdale, Arkansas. The project serves as a landmark from the northern entry into the city for both vehicular travelers on their way to downtown and for bikers and joggers that traverse the multi-city Razorback Greenway. The project links Spring Street and downtown Springdale extending the vibrant commercial street front character of Emma Street north toward the new municipal complex.
The new development celebrates and defines Turnbow Park and Shiloh Square, the civic gathering event spaces of the community. The 6000-square-foot ground floor of the building is transparent and open with restaurants and other commercial spaces that offer a view from Spring Street through to balcony seats on the park side. Patrons can enjoy dinner while overlooking the park, Shiloh Square, and the many concerts and festivals. Above the ground floor are 20 housing units, 11 two-story townhouse apartments, and 9 studio and efficiency units. Each housing unit includes a balcony overlooking the park.
The development is expected to complete by January 2025. We look forward to working with our partners at Jennings+Santa-Rita Architects to deliver this thoughtful design for future residents in Springdale.
