Duvall Decker completed for the National Guard Bureau and FEAC an update and revision to the original DG 415-10 published as a draft in 2017. The draft document was intended to unite the previous DG 415-1 through DG 415-5 documents. The new DG 415-10 document is completely restructured. Every valuable part of the original DG 415-10 has been harvested and reorganized into a more usable structure. Every section has been edited and re-written into performance statements linked to core values, CSI key divisions, UFC requirements, and other applicable codes/references.
The new document starts with a defined mission and core values derived from the National Guard Mission “Always Ready, Always There.” It then includes a management process and “Procedures,” guidance and checklists, a “Cost Control” section, and project requirements – starting with “Master Plan/Site Selection,” “Building Requirements” common to all facilities, “Special Considerations” like AT/FP, Commissioning and Controls, and “Facility Specific / Functional Program” sections for building type (i.e.: Readiness Centers, Logistic Facilities, Aviation Facilities, Training Facilities, and other Standalone Support Buildings).
