Daniel Barker receives 2023 AIA MS Emerging Professionals Award and selected as 2024 AIA Mississippi Associate Director

Our studio is very happy to announce that Daniel Barker has received the 2023 AIA Mississippi Emerging Professionals Award and has been selected by the AIA Mississippi Board as the 2024 AIA Mississippi Associate Director.

Daniel Barker is a skilled architectural associate who leads projects in the office and is an inspiration to all who work with him. Daniel is committed to elevating creativity in the community and in the profession. He is a thoughtful and engaged designer who believes the iterative process of design is always better with multiple perspectives. Daniel sees the importance of using our platforms as designers to create better opportunities for people in the community. He is highly community-driven, whether leading many of the firm’s successful collaborative projects or organizing our semi-annual Concrete Studio community events. Daniel is always ready for new challenges and can quickly adapt to ensure that design intentions are advanced throughout the process. His ability to be curious, research, experiment, and find solutions contributes great quality to every project.
